The Dystopian Digest
Startup CEO tests her own “lightweight” IVF on herself. When asked if she had any “personal feelings” towards her offspring (which were eventually destroyed), she dodged the question. Apparently, they are now genetically engineering chickens to be resistant to bird flu. Will they be labeled as GMOs? We don’t want antibiotics in our chickens, but somehow altering them at a genetic level for our consumption is okay. Brave New Views
You may never be open to an artificial hip, knee, or ankle after viewing “The Bleeding Edge” on Netflix (not to be confused with the 90’s romantic ice skating comedy “The Cutting Edge). You might also rush to warn friends and family against them. Good to know I can still be horrified.
